An amazing monument. The name translates to “Altar of the Fatherland” and was built between 1885-1925 to honor Victor Emmanuel II.To enjoy the view from top you have to pay about 5 Euros per person.

Beautiful! You have to climb a series of staircases until you think you're going to die to get to the top but the view is spectacular. Then ride the lift to the very top for a bird's eye view of Rome

The tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Go to the top, even if you don't see the museum the outside patio has an amazing view and the church is really cool.

In the ruins of ancient Rome, the monument in honour of the Italian king Vittorio Emanuele II provides a symbolic frame of reference for Italy, which was still young at the time of its construction.

It's forbidden to sit on the floor and you can't put your stuff on floor as well. Wierd. This museum is really worth to see. Take a look at the city on the top.

One of the best places to see Rome from above. Take a tour in the terraces and then use the lift to the rooftop in order to see all the places in Rome.
