€5 entry in July 2016. I really liked this cathedral. Beautiful coloration in the arches from use of sandstone. Lots of paintings & ancient hymn books on display. By far the best attraction in Ávila.

€6 entry now in 2018. Well worth it as it’s a beautiful cathedral. Price includes a free audio guide read by a very earnest American teenager (or so it sounds ????)

Located in the medieval city of Ávila (Unesco Heritage Site), it is one of the oldest Cathedrals built in Spain. Its construction is estimated to be dated back to the 1000’s.

Primera catedral gótica de España y de las mas bonitas por su interior y localización. Los 4 € de la entrada son destinados al mantenimiento de la misma, cuanto "listo" y "enteradillo" hay suelto...
